Metropolitan obtain a host of new accreditations

With the continued growth of Metropolitan Developer Limited through 2008, they have worked to obtain accreditations from two of the construction industries highly regarded affiliations.
The accreditation by supply chain specialist Achilles was achieved in November 2008 following audits at Metropolitan’s headquarters. Achilles is a world-leading procurement model, which falls under the “Building Confidence” banner and provides sustainable procurement services to a wide range of companies worldwide across a number of different industries.
Michael Cannon of Metropolitan says: “ Being awarded this accreditation by Achilles will allow us to build long lasting relationships with both new and existing clients who choose to sign-up to this procurement practice. It also ensures that we keep our focus and maintain our standards to ensure that we are amongst the best in our industry.”
Alongside this award Metropolitan have also gained full accreditation as a Registered member of SpeCC, which is a scheme formed by CONSTRUCT to identify competent Reinforced Concrete contractors. This registration scheme was achieved in December 2008, following audits of both site and head office operations.

We feel in being a registered member, it will show our commitment to our clients and perhaps open up new opportunities in the future.”
